Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

IJKMC adheres to internationally recognized ethical standards, including guidelines inspired by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Duties of Authors

  • Submit original, unpublished work
  • Properly cite all sources and avoid plagiarism
  • Avoid multiple or simultaneous submissions
  • Disclose conflicts of interest
  • Ensure accuracy of data and results

Duties of Editors

  • Ensure fair and unbiased evaluation of manuscripts
  • Maintain confidentiality of submissions
  • Prevent conflicts of interest
  • Take corrective actions in cases of misconduct

Duties of Reviewers

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback
  • Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts
  • Identify relevant uncited work
  • Report ethical concerns

Malpractice Handling

  • Plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification will result in rejection or retraction
  • Ethical violations will be addressed following standard academic protocols
  • Corrections and retractions will be issued when necessary
